Diese klasse Scheibe war bis jetzt leider nur als Japan Import erhältlich. Seit kurzem ist sie jedoch auch mit schmalerem Geldbeutel zu erstehen. Einziger Abstrich zur japanischen Version ist ein anderes Cover, welches sich aber stark am Original orientiert. Geboten wird hier Neo-Klassik Metal mit hohem Power Anteil und Shawn Pelata (Ex-ORACLE, K-OCTAVE) am Mikro. Die Akustik Gitarre wird des Öfteren mal hervorgeholt und setzt dann mächtig Akzente. Erinnert alles etwas an eine Mischung aus YNGWIE MALMSTEEN und JAG PANZER. Vor allem bei den ruhigeren Passagen klingt der Gesang manchmal stark nach Harry Conklin. Bandkopf und Gittarist Kyle Harrison spielt sich fast die Finger wund und die zwei Instrumentals ("Thunder & Iron" und "Remembrance") gehören mit zum stärksten Material, welches ich auf diesem Gebiet in letzter Zeit gehört habe. Die Produktion hingegen mit zu den mieseren, aber die Songs sind sooo geil, dass ich da locker drüber hinweg schauen kann. Produziert hat Kyle Harrison selbst, also sicher alles nur eine Frage des Budgets. US Metal Anhänger haben somit auch diesen Monat wieder ein lohnendes Ziel vor Augen.

This brilliant album was unfortunately available only as a Japanese import until now. Since a few weeks it is finally available for the „thinner purses“ as well. In comparison to the Japanese version it has a slightly different cover artwork. Musically you are provided with neo-classical Metal with lots of power and Shawn Pelata (former ORACLE, K-OCTAVE) on vocals. Acoustical guitars are used often as well setting strong marks. Reminds me of a mixture of YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and JAG PANZER. Especially in the softer parts the vocals strongly resemble Harry Conklin. Mainman and guitarist Kyle Harrison plays his fingers sore and the two instrumentals („Thunder And Iron“ and „Remembrance“) belong to the best I have ever heard. Poor production on the other hand but the songs are so fucking great that it doesn’t bother me at all. It was engineered by Kyle himself so it is obviously due to a lack of budget. So every US Metal fanatic has a worthy aim this month again.
