Die Gebrüder Drover sind mit einem saustarken Album zurück. Ich frage mich langsam, ob die Jungs jemals etwas schlechtes abliefern werden. Auf ,,Apostles Of Defiance" wird wieder ein hartes Metal Brett vom feinsten geboten. Die Klampfe von Glen Drover ist ultra Fett und sein Bruder Shawn trümmert seine Schiessbude dermaßen in Grund und Boden, dass ich es mir kaum besser vorstellen kann. Geil... auf diesem Album geht's richtig nach vorne. Ja und die Krönung setzt dem ganzen noch Pat Mulock mit seinem variablen Gesang (unter anderem Death Metal mäßige Growls) auf. Es streiten sich ja noch immer die Fans ob Pat besser ist als sein Vorgänger Brian Soulard, aber mit dieser Leistung sag ich klar ja zu Pat. Aber urteilt selber , denn als Bonus gibt es das in der Zwischenzeit ziemlich rare Debüt "Zero Hour" auf welchem noch Brian singt (+ ,,Coma Nation" Video) dazu.
Zum neuen Album gibt es noch zu sagen: hört euch nacheinander ,,Volcanic Earth" - ,,Twisted Morality" sowie ,,Demoralized" an und ihr bekommt die Stärken der Band nur so um die Ohren gehauen. Ihr werdet noch süchtig werden nach EIDOLON !

The Dover brothers have returned releasing a powerful album. I start to ask myself whether these guys will ever release something bad. „Apostles Of Defiance“ is a pure and raw Metal attack of the highest quality. Glen Drover’s guitar sounds ultra-heavy and his brother shawn nearly wrecks his drumkit. GREAT...this album rushes ahead with full force. The album’s highlight is Pat Mulock’s very varied vocal performance (including some Death Metal-like Growls). The fans of EIDOLON still quarrel whether Pat or former vocalist Brian Soulard is the better one but listening to his vocals here I definitely have to vote for Pat. But check it out for yourself cause the meanwhile very rare debut album „Zero Hour“ is included here as additional CD featuring Brian on vocals (plus „Coma Nation“ video). Some last words concerning the new album:Just listen to „Volcanic Earth“, „Twisted Morality“ and „Demoralized“ one after another and you get to know the band’s abilities and skills.You surely will get addicted to EIDOLON !
