Zerstörer ist Back.................und wie !
Eine Feuerwand ist auf dem Cover zusehen und da heraus bricht das DESTRUCTOR -
Logo! Schon mal sehr passend, wie Ich finde. Den Silberling rein in den Player
und los geht's mit einem unheilvollem Gewitter. Dann bricht der Titelsong "Sonic
Bullet" los. Ein absolutes Thrashbrett vor dem Herrn. Von der ersten bis zur
letzten Sekunde wird gethrasht, was das Zeug her gibt. Da merkt man gleich das
DESTRUCTOR aus den 80ern kommen. Thrash so wie Ihn EXODUS , HADES , ATROPHY
u.s.w. um die Jahrhundertwende zelebrierten. Rums ein Bombeneinschlag beendet
den Song "Sonic Bullet" und geht gleich in "Heavy Artillery" über (was auch
sonst ?!).Die 6 neuen Songs sind alle vom Feinsten, was in der Thrash Szene seit
Jahren so aufgetaucht ist. 2 Live-Songs ("Pounding Evil" & "Iron Curtain") sind
auch noch auf der CD, sie stammen vom genialen ' 86 Debüt "Maximum Destruction"
und sind im Klasse-Live-Sound. Zur Abrundung haben die Mannen um Dave Overkill (Guitar
& Vocals) noch einen Cover-Song von HAWKWIND (Master Of The Universe.......wie
treffend für Sonic Bullet!!!), der in seinem Thrash Gewand richtig gut rüber
kommt, auf die Scheibe gebannt.
Wer DESTRUCTOR auf dem BYH - Festival 2003 gesehen & gehört hat, dürfte die CD ja
schon in seiner Sammlung haben. Allen anderen Thrash-Fans sei gesagt, holt euch
diese Scheibe! Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall sehr !!!

The destructor is back with a vengeance !
The cover shows a fire wall and the bandlogo bursting out of it.That fits
perfectly I guess. I hurried up to get the CD into my player and immediately it
starts off with a fateful thunderstorm. Suddenly,the title track „Sonic Bullet“
breaks loose, a total Thrash Metal Killer,thrashing till death. It’s obvious
that DESTRUCTOR come from the glorious 80ies. Thrash Metal just as celebrated by
the likes of EXODUS, HADES, ATROPHY etc. in times around the new century. A bomb
impact ends the song and leads up to „Heavy Artillery“(a real proper title,
indeed). All six new songs belong to the best that the Thrash Metal scene has
brought forth for years. There are also two Livetracks included (great sound
quality), namely „Pounding Evil“ and „Iron Curtain“ from the brilliant ’86 debut
„Maximum Destruction“. Finally, Dave Overkill (guitar,vocals) and his mates have
covered the HAWKWIND classic „Master Of The Universe“ (again a proper choice)
that sounds great in its thrashy outfit.
I you have watched and heard DESTRUCTOR on the BYH-Festival in 2003 you already
should have this one in your collection.To all other Thrash-lunatics out
there:GET IT !! It is worth it !!
