Vier Jahre nach Ihrem gelungenem Comeback "Omega Conspiracy" sind die US-Speedster Agent Steel zurück. Und wie!!! Der jetzt vorliegende Nachfolger "Order Of The Illuminati" ist sehr gut gelungen. Gleich zu Anfang lässt mich der Oldschool Sound aufhorchen!!! Endlich mal eine Produktion, die nicht so glatt poliert klingt. Sie passt absolut zu Agent Steel und das Coverartwork wie die berühmte Faust aufs Auge. Jaa und Bruce Hall (vocals) kommt deutlich besser rüber, als auf dem Vorgänger, wo er doch irgendwie wie ein Fremdkörper wirkte. Na und über die Gitarrenduelle zwischen Juan Garcia & Bernie Versailles braucht man glaube nichts zu sagen. Sie zählen zum besten, was der Metal je hervorgebracht hat. Sie sind vom anderen Stern!!! Egal welchen Song man auch hört, ob thrashig wie "E.U.L." oder sich von ruhig bis speedig steigernd "Ten Fists Of Nations" halten alle Songs ein sehr hohes Level. Aber der große Vorteil von "Order Of The Illuminati" ist: Sie nutzt sich nicht ab, - im Gegenteil. Durch wiederholtes Hören erschließt sich die Scheibe immer mehr und man bekommt sie gar nicht mehr aus dem Player !!! Definitiv ist "Order Of The Illuminati" eine richtig gute Investition für alle Oldschool-Speed-Metal-Fans!!!

Four years after their successful comeback album "Omega Conspiracy" US-Speedsters Agent Steel have returned. And believe how !! Their new release "Order Of The Illuminati" is well-done ! The production is sounding very Old School, not polished at all. Production and Coverartwork fit the band perfectly. Yeesss, and Bruce Hall sounds much better than on the predecessing album where he didn't seem to fit in the band. And concerning the guitar duels between Juan Garcia and Bernie Versailles I do not have to waiste any words, have I ?!?! Two of the best Metal guitarists ever ! They seem to come from outer space. All songs are of the same quality, it doesn't matter whether you listen to the thrashy "E.U.L." or "Ten Fists Of Nations" (starting quietly, then getting speedier and speedier). But the greatest advantage of this album is that it doesn't get boring at all-just the opposite!! The album is a real grower and you will hardly get it off your player again. Definitely a MUST for all Oldschool Speed Metal fans.
