Sage und schreibe 6 Jahre nach der Debüt EP "Let The Violence Begin" sind die Thrasher um exDARK ANGEL Gitarrist "Jim Durkin" zurück. Mit komplett ausgewechselter Mannschaft und etwas gezügelten Tempo, haben DREAMS OF DEMNATION ein Mini Album mit 7 sehr starken Thrash Songs eingespielt. "Epic Tales Of Vengeance" hätte sich locker in die DARK ANGEL Alben einreihen können! Das soll heißen "Back To The Roots", auch wenn mit "Loana DP Valencia" eine Frau das Mikro an sich gerissen hat. Was die Frau zusammen growlt ist völlig geil. Auf "Epic Tales Of Vengeance" wird das Gaspedal im Stile von DARK ANGEL immer wieder durchgetreten, nur kommen öfter die melodischen Leadgitarren zum Einsatz, was das Mini Album sehr hörenswert macht. Fans die auf ARCH ENEMY stehen, sollte in Zukunft auch DREAMS OF DEMNATION ein Begriff sein. Hoffentlich brauchen Jim Durkin und seine Mitstreiter nicht wieder 6 Jahre bis zur nächsten Scheibe. In der Hoffnung auf baldiges neues Material, wird "Epic Tales Of Vengeance" sehr oft in meinem Player rotieren müssen.

Six years after the release of their debut EP "Let The Violence Begin" these guys around former DARK ANGEL guitarist Jim Durkin finally managed to get back onto the scene. With a complete new line-up and rather moderate tempo DREAMS
OF DAMNATION have recorded seven very good Thrash songs here. "Epic Tales Of Vengeance" could be another DARK ANGEL album as well ! That means the guys went back to their roots even though the vocals are done by female vocalist Loana DP Valencia. Her growls are totally brilliant. There are a lot of high-speed parts just like DARK ANGEL had but on the other hand there are a lot of melodic lead guitars as well making this album worth listening. If you are into ARCH ENEMY you should check out this one. Hope they won't need six more years to release their next album. Hoping for more upcoming song material, I will give "Epic Tales Of Vengeance" many rotations inside my CD player in the meantime.
