Ständig kommen neue Truemetal-CD’s aus den USA auf den Markt. Da soll noch einer sagen, der Metal ist tot. Im Untergrund brodelt es immer weiter. Und so erheitern uns die Jungs von DARK MIRROR den tristen Alltag mit einer Portion metallischer Klänge, die genau in die Schnittmenge der von mir vorgestellten Bands passen. Die Band um den chilenischen Sänger Alonso machen keine Gefangenen und knallen uns ihre Werke von Power (Dark Mirror) bis Speed (Nightmares) um die Lauscher. Leider ist nach 4 Songs (ist halt eine Demo-CD) der Reigen schon vorbei. Und trotzdem gewinnt man schon einen guten Eindruck, zu was die Band fähig ist. Allen Szenekennern dürften wohl Namen wie STEEL PROPHET, LIZZY BORDEN, HALLOWEEN und weitere Verdächtige bekannt sein. Wer aber anschließend noch gierig auf Nachschlag ist, wird auf Homepage fündig. Da gibt es dann noch 3 weitere Songs abzugreifen. Man kann also nur hoffen, dass es DARK MIRROR schaffen, ein komplettes Album mit einer amtlichen Produktion zu veröffentlichen. Also ran an den Speck. Solche Bands können nur überleben, wenn die Metalfans sie unterstützen.

True Metal CDs are released constantly in the USA at the moment. Metal is dead ??!! Far from it !!! The underground is boiling further and further. And so the guys of DARK MIRROR cheer up our dreary weekday with a giant dose of metallic sounds fitting perfectly into the intersection of the bands I have featured here. The band around vocalist Alonso from Chile take no prisoners and hit our ears heavily with power (Dark Mirror) and speed (Nightmares). Unfortunately, after four songs (just a Demo-CD) the roundelay already ends. But nevertheless you get a good impression of what the band is capable of. Every insider should know bands as STEEL PROPHET, LIZZY BORDEN, HALLOWEEN and the likes. If you should yearn for more you'll find it on the band's homepage. There you can download three more songs. Hope these guys will manage to release a complete album with an appropriate production.
