Heavy Metal aus Frankreich stand größtenteils schon immer für Qualität. Bands wie SORTILEGE, ADX oder TRUST kramt man sich auch heute noch gern aus der Vitrine. In diese Reihe exzellenter Bands könnten sich BLACK RAIN auch bald einreihen. Absolut professionell gespielter Heavy Metal der alten Schule wird hier eine knappe Stunde lang gezockt. Sänger Swan (nö, nicht der Kal Swan von TYTAN und LION) hat mit seinem sehr hohen Organ die passende Stimme für diese Art von Metal. Songs wie "Gods Of Metal", "Battleground", "Kill 'em All" und "No Life 'till Metal" sollten eigentlich schon vom Namen her das Interesse aller traditionell orientierten Kuttenträger wecken.
