Die Los Angeles Thrasher ABSOLUTION klingen wie eine Band aus der "guten alten Zeit". Remineszenzen an lebende Legenden wie ANTHRAX, RAZOR oder DEATH ANGEL (man höre nur mal die Gesangslinien) schimmern an allen Ecken und Enden durch. ABSOLUTION sind absolut Old-School und das ist sicher auch so gewollt. Es wird sich hier durch die 6 Songs gemosht und gerifft was das Zeug hält. Wenn man sich übrigens die Live- und Studiobilder auf ihrer Website ansieht, gewinnt man unweigerlich den Eindruck, dass die Bandmitglieder über eine riesige Metal T-Shirt Sammlung verfügen. These Thrashers from Los Angeles sound like a band from the "good old days" reminding me of living legends like ANTHRAX, RAZOR or DEATH ANGEL (just listen to the vocal lines). These guys are totally oldschool and I guess they did it on purpose. Six songs of moshing and riffing to the hilt. Taking a look at the band photos on their website you'll inevitably get the impression that the dudes own an enormous Metal-T-Shirt collection.
